While delegated design responsibility has become common practice with other engineers, at DeStefano & Chamberlain, Inc., we do not shirk our responsibility. We actually engineer our structures and do not try to pawn off our job on the contractor.

We are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We prefer to inspect our projects during construction to ensure that our clients are getting the project that they deserve. Our engineers are qualified Special Inspectors and know our structures better than anybody else.

We are not only experts in structural analysis and design, we also understand related building systems and technologies, such as, cladding systems, building science, waterproofing, passive fire protection, flood-resistant construction, and building codes.
Sustainability
There is more to sustainable design than just a LEED plaque on the wall – a lot more. We endeavor to incorporate green building initiatives into all of our projects when they make sense, whether it is a LEED certified project or not.
